"Imagine Your Story" is the theme for this year’s Summer Reading Club at the John Ed Keeter Public Library of Saginaw. The fun begins on Wednesday, June 3 and goes through Saturday, July 25 for children ages 0 to 5th grade.

It’s not the same as before:

We’ve had to make a LOT of changes this year to comply with state guidelines and keep everybody safe, but we still have lots of fun coming your way this summer!

ONLINE Programs:

  • Wednesday Adventures
  • Storytime Thursday
  • Friday Summer STEAM

New online content Tuesday-Saturday on YouTube and Facebook.

READING and Activity Logs:

Pick up a NEW log each week and fill it up for a prize!

Take it and make it CRAFT KITS:

Pick up a NEW craft at the Library every Tuesday and Thursday.

VERY LIMITED in-person program tickets:

If your kids would like to be part of our small video audience, call the Library starting at 9:00 Thursday morning to reserve tickets for a program the following week. Seats are extremely limited. 

MUST present a ticket for EVERY child in order to enter the program.

For Teens

Teens (completed 6th-12th grade)

will have weekly programs that include movies, gaming, animals, art and more. 

Teens can read a book, ebook or comic, listen to an audiobook, or come to a program and enter weekly drawings for prizes. Snacks are always provided for teen events.

FOR adults

We encourage Library users 18 and up to read this summer too! Starting June 4, get an entry into our drawings for setting a reading goal, reading a book, or reading to a child. ebooks and audiobooks count too! You choose which drawing to enter from our great prizes. The more you read, the more chances you have to win!
